Motivating Member Paperless Adoption

In partnership with University of Southern California Master of Applied Psychology Program, a study to understand how healthcare consumers evaluate & use health information seen on social media

Methods

In partnership with University of Southern California Master of Applied Psychology Program, my team performed 20 in-depth interviews and a survey (n = 154).

Participants in the interviews and survey were 18 years or older, primary healthcare decision makers, and active social media users. Quantitative analysis was performed in SPSS. Qualitative synthesis was supported by Mural.

Findings

The overwhelming takeaway from this research is that participants identified “finding consensus” as a key task in their process of finding answers to health-related questions. Detailed findings and recommendations can be viewed via the link below.
